How To Take Clothing Measurements

Get a flexible measuring tape. These are often sold in craft stores.
Sleeve: With your arm relaxed and hand on hip. Measure from the lowest part of the neck, over the tip of the shoulder and down the outside of the arm, past the elbow and the wrist. Keep the arm slightly bent.
Bust/ Chest: Wrap tape measure under armpits around the fullest part of your bust/chest under your arms.
Waist: Wrap tape measure around your narrowest part of your waist, where you normally wear your pants.
Hip: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, standing your feet together.
Inside Leg: Measure from the top of inner thigh down to the bottom of the ankle.
